Prefer to give by check? Thank you. Follow the steps below so we can receipt your gift and allocate it to the correct campaign on FundLibraries.org.


Step 1: Make the check payable to

EveryLibrary Institute, NFP

Step 2: Add the memo

In the memo line, write: “Name of the Campaign”.
If your check cannot include a memo, include a short note with the campaign name and campaign URL.

Step 3: Include your contact details

Please include a note with:

  • Your full name and mailing address for your receipt
  • Email and phone in case there are questions about your designation
  • Campaign name exactly as it appears on FundLibraries.org

How your mailed gift is handled

  • Tax status: Your contribution is a gift to the EveryLibrary Institute, a 501(c)(3) public charity, and is tax-deductible as allowed by law.
  • Designation: The Institute exercises discretion and control over all contributed funds and then re-grants to pre-approved charitable projects and qualified organizations to carry out the described purposes of the campaign.
  • Restriction: Grants made from these funds are restricted to 501(c)(3)-permissible purposes. They are not used to support or oppose candidates.
  • Receipts and timing: Please allow 7 to 10 business days after delivery for processing. Receipts are sent by email or mail.
